Cocoa cookies!
This New Year’s Eve was again one amazing evening with my very good friends. To make everything perfect we each had something to prepare, and of course I was baking sweets. I made vanilla cupcakes with mixed berries cream, delicious desserts in cups; filled with vanilla sponge, chocolate cream, berries cream, nutella and topped with dark chocolate dirt. I also made these cocoa cookies, and here is the recipe. I meant to do them all, but of course, I forgot to take pictures of everything else.
Recipe:
-160g butter
-130g confectioners’ sugar
-2 eggs
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-3 tbsp ice coffee
-200g flour
-pinch of salt
-1 tsp baking powder
-90g cocoa powder
-chocolate for topping
Beat room temperature butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Then add eggs, vanilla, and ice coffee. If you want, you can add milk instead of coffee. Beat until well combined.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Sift all dry ingredients in butter mixture and combine together. If you find it too hard to pipe, add in more milk or coffee. Transfer in a piping bag and pipe on baking tray. Bake them at 180 °C, for 12 minutes.
After they are cooled you can either dip them in chocolate or just pipe the chocolate over like I did. I used some left over red candy melts chocolate but you can just use any chocolate you have at home. I wish you all best wishes and one very sweet year 2015! :)
Še en silvestrski večer je mimo in kot se spodobi, sem ga tudi takrat preživela v krogu svojih najboljših prijateljev. Ker je ta večer namenjen druženju, samo kuho in peko razdelili tako, da je vsak nekaj prinesel že narejeno od doma. Sama sem seveda poskrbela za sladice. Izdelala sem mini vaniljeve mafine s kremo iz gozdnih sadežev, sladice v kozarčkih, ki sem jih napolnila z vaniljevim biskvitom, kuhano čokoladno kremo, kuhano kremo iz gozdnih sadežev, nutelo ter čokoladno zemljo. Za zraven sem pripravila še kakavove brizgane piškote, recept pa bom delila tudi z vami.
Recept:
-160g masla
-130g sladkorja v prahu
-2 jajci
-1 žlička vaniljevega ekstrakta
-3 žlice ledene kave
-200g moke
-ščepec soli
-1 žlička pecilnega praška
-90g kakava v prahu
-stopljena čokolada za okrasitev
Maslo sobne temperature stepemo skupaj s sladkorjem v prahu. Stepamo toliko časa, da dobimo puhasto svetlo maso. Nato ji dodamo jajca, vaniljo, ter ledeno kavo. Ledeno kavo lahko zamenjamo z mlekom. Vse sestavine dobro zmiksamo, da dobimo gladko maso. V drugi posodi zmešamo skupaj moko, kakav v prahu, pecilni prašek in sol. Premešane suhe sestavine presejemo v mokro maso. Dobro zmiksamo, da se vse sestavine premešajo. Maso prestavimo v vrečko za brizganje, v katero smo vstavili zvezdnati nastavek. Piškote poljubnih oblik nabrizgamo na pladenj obložen s peki papirjem. Pečemo jih 12 minut, pri 180 °C. Ko so piškoti ohlajeni jih lahko potopimo v stopljeno čokolado, ali pa jih okrasimo, tako da čokolado pošpricamo po piškotih.
