Hot chocolate with Clementine!
This week’s recipe is going to be very easy to make and super delicious! No baking will be included. As I said last week, it's all about Christmas flavors, so here is my Christmas inspired hot chocolate! Recipe: Yields: 3 cups
-450 ml of milk
-100 g milk chocolate
-50 g semisweet chocolate
-1tbsp cocoa powder
-1tbsp granulated sugar (optional)
-150 ml of cream
For Clementine puree:
-6 Clementines
-1/2 tsp granulated sugar First you prepare Clementine puree. Peel Clementines, put them in a small saucepan and smash a bit so you have some liquid in the pan. Then you cook them for 10-15 minutes. Put them in a blending machine and blend. Then sift back in pan, making sure you don't leave any big lumps in. After that cook for 10 more minutes, so you get a very thick paste. For the chocolate drink you first boil your milk. And then you simple add all the ingredients but cream. You stir it slowly until everything is melted and nicely combined. You use cream for topping. Beat it to soft peaks adding some of the puree to get a light Clementine flavor. The rest of puree you can drizzle over the top. And this is it! Your hot chocolate is ready! All you have to do is sit in your favorite place maybe with a book or a good friend by your side.
Note: if you wish to make it more Christmassy you can always add a bit of cinnamon powder in the chocolate mix.
Ta teden pa nekaj enostavnega! Enostavnega in nujnega v zimskih večerih. Pripravila sem recept za vročo čokolado s klementinami. Recept: dobimo približno 3 skodelice
-450 ml mleka
-100 g mlečne čokolade
-50 g grenke čokolade
-1 žlico kakava v prahu
-1 žlico sladkorja (ni nujno)
-150 ml smetane
Sadni pire:
-6 klementin
-1/2 žličke sladkorja
Najprej bomo pripravili sadni pire iz klementin. Klementine olupimo, damo na polovičke ali četrtine in položimo v posodo, v kateri bomo kuhali. Klementine rahlo potlačimo s kuhalnico, da spustijo nekaj tekočine. Kuhamo jih na zmernem ognju nekje med 10-15 minut. Spustile so že kar nekaj soka in so lepo mehke. Vse skupaj prelijemo v blender, dobro zmiksamo in precedimo nazaj v posodo. Pazimo, da vsi večji koščki ostanejo na cedilcu. Kuhamo še toliko časa, dokler ne dobimo gostega pireja, približno 10 minut. Za čokolado je vse kar moramo narediti to, da zavremo mleko, nato pa mu dodamo ostale sestavine, razen smetane. Dobro premešamo, pazimo, da je vse stopljeno. Stopljeno vročo čokolado prelijemo v kozarec ali skodelico. Na vrh nabrizgamo smetano, ki smo ji dodali nekaj sadnega pireja. Tega uporabimo tudi za okrasitev, tako, da ga nabrizgamo po smetani. Po želji lahko dodamo tudi koščke klemenitne, za izrazitejši okus po božiču, pa lahko dodamo tudi cimet.
